If, for some reason, even after reading this blog you're still craving more Will Pfeifer, this is your lucky week. The hype machine for AMAZONS ATTACK is in full gear, and there are plenty of online interviews with yours truly rambling on about Wonder Woman, Catwoman and the correct spelling of my last name. Read 'em all. You never know when I might decide to throw a pop quiz.
* Jennifer Contino and I discuss AMAZONS over at The Pulse (you have to scroll down -- this isn't is a direct link). In non-AMAZONS-related matters, there's a comment in the comments section (where else?) from someone wanting a trade collection of my 1999 Vertigo mini-series FINALS (and he's actually gone to the trouble to put together his own photocopied book). I'm flattered, and I'd love to see a collection myself (it's a pain dragging out those four separate issues), but if DC decided to re-release a comic book about a bunch of kids getting killed on a college campus in light of recent events, I'd be more than a little astonished. Sorry, but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.
* Over at Newsarama, I talk with Matt Brady about those crazy AMAZONS. Some nice sketches by artist Pete Woods are included with this interview.
* WONDER WOMAN writer (and New York Times best-selling author) Jodi Picoult and I did a short phone interview with Wizard. You lucky readers can check it out here. Be sure to enjoy my already-dated Captain America joke and liberal use of the word "badasses."
* Finally, over at Atomic Comics, I undergo the so-called "Radiation Interrogation." Sounds more painful than it is, though I'm still worried my hair is going to fall out. Here's where the spelling of my last name becomes a topic for conversation, and also where I let my film freak flag fly a little too proudly.

Buy my comics, make me rich: CATWOMAN #66 and AMAZONS ATTACK #1
Double dip this week, kids. First, we've got the monthly installment of CATWOMAN, this time focusing almost completely on Catwoman 2.o, aka Holly, who tangles with an explosive (chuckle chuckle) new villain called Blitzkrieg. Selina's in it too, of course, and a certain pair of Russian super-villains stop by to say "hi" to the gang. Just look for this swell Adam Hughes cover at your local sequential art emporium ...
Also, this week marks the debut of AMAZONS ATTACK, the six-issue mini-series by former CATWOMAN artist Pete Woods and current CATWOMAN writer yours truly. I've been working on this one for a while, and it's exciting to see it finally hit the stands. Big, crazy comic book action unlike the more intimate tales of CW. There will be plenty of guest stars scattered throughout the series, but this issue features the most special guest of all -- Abraham Lincoln!
Here's the cover, by Mr. Woods himself ...
Finally, I've discovered that the aforementioned WIZARD article about me and my comics career is indeed online. If you want to check it out, follow this link.

Laziness bad, posting good
I realize it's been awhile since I've posted anything here. And believe me, it's got nothing to do with you, my beloved blog-reading public. I've just been busy with the kid, the comic book, the other comic book, the job, a cold and other assorted and sundry stuff. (Plus, Kurt Vonnegut died, and though that didn't really take up any of my personal time, I wanted to post something here, but couldn't think of anything, so that just made me that much later to actually come up with something for the blog. So thanks, Kurt. Thanks a lot.)
Anyway, I still don't have anything brilliant of my own to post here, so I'll ride of the coattails of others and just present this great Dan Clowes cover for the upcoming paperback of Frankenstein. Nice, eh?
And I promise, I'll have a decent post later this week. As soon as I finish my taxes.
* Just kidding. Vonnegut's one of the all-time favorites. I'd recommend MOTHER NIGHT, SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE or BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS to start, but they're all pretty good. Read my short-but-sweet blurb for the very good MOTHER NIGHT movie version here.
